They left their farm uncultivated and followed suit the three families of Pande caste who pioneered in this industry. The descendant of Pande are known for their skill in creating all metals equipment such knifes, sword etc as well as jewelry for accesorries. You can find many gold and silver creative designs of rings, necklaces, bracelets etc from Balinese traditional to modern ones.You may also order the gold and silver on your own designs and send to your country safely.
UBUD MONKEY FOREST
A preserved rain forest in the heart of Ubud Bali dwelt by a group of monkeys and other tropical animals.Monkey Forests in Balinese language called Wanara Wana and Ubud Monkey Forest plays an important role in conservation of the monkey habitat in Bali. Sorrounding resident will look after the forest very well for the animals to live in harmony.
Located in down town of Ubud, also known as Puri Saren, Ubud Palace is a Royal Palace of the King of Ubud. Built by Ida Tjokorda Putu Kandel who was in power from the year 1800 - 1823. Ubud Royal Palace with it’s great traditional architecture and Balinese ornaments completed with a Wantilan, a large building functioning as meeting rooms. Nowadays, Balinese people especially Gianyar regency resident remain respectful to Ubud Royal families.
As many other traditional markets, Ubud market is also located nearby or adjunction to the Royal Palace. Divided into two blocks, the east building for groceries and foodstock market for daily life open very early 05.00 – 12.00 while the west building for art market. Various handicraft from traditional to comtemporary designs sold in ubud market and the prices are relatively cheap and bargainable.
